Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name, case number, or other term entered in a search tool is sent to the third-party company that provides that tool. We do not keep or log the query on our own systems. The provider processes the entry under its policy.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send an email, we retain the message as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Routine server and analytics records may collect technical information when a page loads:
- The device's assigned IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when available
- Date and time of each visit
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure traffic and site use. Analytics services can combine this data to show which pages are useful and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, although that choice may alter how some functions work.
What We Do With This Data
We use collected information only for ordinary site operations and service delivery:
- Operate and improve page speed and availability
- Route a submitted search to the selected provider
- Measure which content visitors use
- Find and correct technical faults
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Adams County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a case-record database. It publishes general directions to Colorado trial courts, municipal clerks, docket calendars, vendors, and the Clerk of Court at Adams County Combined Courts. CJD 05-01 governs access to Colorado court records, while the Colorado Open Records Act addresses public records within its scope. Neither process makes this private website a court-record custodian. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor information is not assembled into reports about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, pricing, and disclosure rules apply to information entered there. We do not control those practices. Review the provider's terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Adams Combined Courts, municipal courts, Colorado Judicial Branch services, legal resources, or third-party tools. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read it before providing personal details.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to track activity across websites and select ads. That processing does not occur in an Adams County court file.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:
- A search provider that receives a query
- Analytics vendors that measure performance and traffic
- Advertising networks that serve ads
- A government authority when valid legal process requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard security practices are used for information within our control. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. If such data is identified, we will remove it after receiving enough information to locate it.
Your Data Rights
Rights may vary with the law that applies to a visitor and the type of data involved. A person may ask us to take the following steps where required:
- Provide a copy of personal data held about that person
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information subject to a valid exception
- Honor an available opt-out from specified processing
Updates to This Policy
